How much sleep does one actually need?

In article "Sleep Needs" they highlight the myths and facts about sleep that many people either know or do not know. While a lot of people may think that the quantity of sleep is more important, its said to be the quality because people who do sleep at appropriate amount of hours "don't feel well rested when they wake up because the quality of their sleep is poor" which is relatable. Statistics for the average adult 18 and older should aim for 7-9 hours of sleep according to a source incorporated in the article by the National Sleep Foundation.
