One of the main sources that we usually tend to use to check our sources and verify if they are indeed true. FactCheck.org has been working very closely with Facebook to filter fake viral news from reaching us. Since they are nonpartisan and nonprofit, they are doing the utmost work and since 2007 they have been filtering fake news. Their core mission is strictly “reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics.” Facebook users now have the capability to report dubious information on their feed and Factcheck.org will then get a notification regarding the issue and then they will provide and notify Facebook with the actual correct information debunking the fake claims.
