How to Spot Fake News Pt4

In my series of blog posts about the types of fake news this will be the final one and will be about “False Headlines.” This means that they change or alter headlines that “catch a reader’s attention to make them click on the” the article. This is called “clickbait.” This article may contain some right information at it’s best, however most of it is going to be incorrect information. This is not as bad as the deliberate misinformation, however I feel that the intent to mislead people makes this very deceitful as well. This is also something I have personally run into a lot especially on platforms like youtube and other video platforms. Fake News is just tough to get around however now that we know each type it should be much easier to sit down and evaluate whether or not the information you are receiving is accurate.
