Identifying Fake News

It is not all fake news that are easily identifiable but there are some we see and can tell immediately that they are. People who post fake news on the internet are mostly looking for attention or pleasure. To spot fake news we have to first consider the credibility of the platform that we get our information from. I personally do not trust any news I see on Facebook until I fact check it. Second point is to do a mini research on the validity of the news. The writer and author of the news is also important as it could help you to consider if the news is just a hoax. “Website which sometimes use clickbait-y headlines and social media description” should be on your look out as well as they aren’t always true. According to IFLA check for your biases, and article date.
