A really important issue in my community that I think a lot of people can agree to is about how cops give out too many tickets for unreasonable reasons.
I interviewed teenagers since my parents and I think they are the most targeted and would most likely get a ticket than an adult.
1. Do you think this is true?
"yes, cops act like they have nothing to do". -Sandra
2. Have you been affected by this?
"yes I have, and it made me really mad, it was not such a big deal and I had to pay so much with the money I don't even have".-Kenzie
3. What do you think is the problem?
"I think that cops don't think anything really happens in the community to worry about, so they focus more on giving tickets and exaggerate the situation"-Joseph
4. Do you think they are doing the right thing?
"I mean it is their job but some people don't have 225 to just give out you know, being 5 mph over the speed limit is not a big deal and they should focus on more important thing that actually affects our community, but they do aid when there's need and I do have to respect that"-Laura
Most of the people I interviewed had strong opinions about this and they were biased towards the fact that yes, cops give out free tickets for no reason.
At the same time, they were influenced by their emotions, and this is what makes their argument believable.
