I asked some people in my community “What are some issues you or your family has faced in our community?” I received many answers of the same context. Generally, many spoke about the issues of littering and how it is so normalized nowadays. One mother said, “When I stop at a stop sign, I see so many cans and wrappers laying around as if it is the Earth’s natural decoration.” She goes on to explain how there is natural trash laying around at playgrounds that some toddlers will not comprehend is not supposed to be played with. I believe littering will never be beneficial and is a bad habit many Americans dismiss as an issue. Some organizations are very helpful towards this issue and need to be more announced to the public.
