It Started with a Photo

We have all heard about "Humans of New York" even if you don't regularly read this type of Journalism has gained a lot of attention. It's mainly due to the fact that it's so unique. “Humans of New York began as a photography project in 2010...Somewhere along the way, I began to interview my subjects in addition to photographing them. And alongside their portraits, I'd include quotes and short stories from their lives.” What started with a photography mission quickly grew to sitting down and listening to the stories of the subject in the photograph.When the photos were paired with the story behind them it gained an immense amount of attraction world wide.
