Japan 1945

The United States coverage of the bomb dropping on Hiroshima and Nagasaki could not have been more different than Japan's coverage of the event. In the United States they gave headlines making it look very grim for Japan.

However, in Japan, they had headlines from papers like the Nippon Times that read “The explosive power of the new bomb is now under investigation, but it is considered that it should not be made light of”. Trying to underplay the whole situation to the rest of the country. Not knowing that only a few days later another bomb would drop in Nagasaki.
