Journalists are unprepared and puzzled about what is unraveling in politics, and continually journalist assault has been increasing. In 2020 as a whole (at least up to now), 313 U.S. journalists have been attacked, again with many pointing to attacks by law enforcement officers. The past four years of journalism shows a look into the next four through the struggles and fumbling of reporting.
