According to Hoffman, “Research suggests that 15 percent of podcast listeners worldwide and rising are turning into news podcasts.” This growth in news podcasts may cause a decline in traditional journalism. The increase in podcast audience will help expand journalism by introducing it to new and innovated versions of journalism.
