As we move further and further into 2020, journalists are put into more risk regarding their jobs. The competition for newspaper companies or magazines are seeing less and less funding every year. Companies try to avoid these problems by merging but also end up laying off journalists because of costs. It is a "unsustainable" environment to be in. Furthermore as we move to a more advanced way of spreading the news like the internet or TV, the use of news papers are seen less and less. All of the major companies like CNN or The New York Times can withstand the economic drops, but all of the more local businesses are staring to die out.
