I read an article "Millennials are ready to run things" by Julia B. Chan and Kim Bui https://www.niemanlab.org/2020/12/millennials-are-ready-to-run-things/ and was given a fresh perspective on the challenges that journalist have been facing. As stated in the first sentence of the article, "You love to blame a millennial." It appears as though many millennial journalist have spent the last several years being "told we weren’t ready, we didn’t have enough experience, we didn’t have the right experience, we weren’t a good culture fit or we were too radical."
