The former CNN news host, Brooke Baldwin wrote a book on the collective force that Women can use to protest for their own causes. She describes these movements as life-changing as a strategy to encourage women to band together. By highlighting the achievements of several protests, sports teams and the #me too movement, she’s unifying women in order to empower to make change in their communities, and the country as a whole. She appealed to her female audience when she described the fear she experienced after first hearing about President Trump’s aggressive behavior towards women. “I was standing there and I was troubled. I didn’t know what the next 4 years was going to look like” She used this perspective to further emphasize the importance of banding together.
