Reporting has become more and more challenging in the time of crisis, especially during COVID-19. Many Journalists still gather news during COVID-19 pandemic and that’s why UNESCO has expressed concern about the safety of journalists during the COVID-19 pandemic. UNESCO said “Journalists’ physical and psychological safety should come first”. Many journalists have to take precautions like wearing masks and gloves. They also need to wipe down all equipment carefully. They have to use long microphone to have social distancing of six feet. On the other hand, some media outlets were closed. Some other counted thousands of layoffs just in April of 2020.
