Last Friday, February 21 of the year 2020, a shooting went down at the apartment complex across the street from Allen High School. Around Lunchtime is when the violence ensued. The police arrived shortly after the shots were heard and managed to put three of the four suspects in custody; the last one got away. With one shooter still on the loose, Allen High School went into a lockout. "The lockout didn't really affect anyone's day until sixth period ended," said one anonymous Allen High student, "but when the bell rang for seventh to start, students who would usually leave for the day were unable to do so."
