As it is the start of a new decade, we have already had some crazy news stories. One major story that affected me was Kobe Bryant passing away. He was an idol to thousands of people. He was "widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time". When I first heard the news I thought it was fake. I instantly checked my Instagram and Twitter. To my surprise, this was real news. "Kobe Bryant and nine others die in fatal helicopter crash". You were able to see everyone's emotional words on Twitter. On Instagram you saw all the news sources showing love to Kobe with pictures and videos of his incredible career. Although it was devastating news, it brought everyone together to remember Kobe. It was amazing to see how everyone can come together on social media just off of one event.
