ldarvish1

There has been a lot of misinformation and conspiracy theories since the outbreak of global pandemic. Conspiracy theories such as how the virus starts and misinformation about remedies have been found on the internet. Some of the inaccurate information had spawned from authorities of countries such as Brazil and Russia. Rankin, The Guardian writer, stated, ” Pro-Kremlin media have been spreading disinformation about Coronavirus with the aim of “aggravating” the public health crisis in the west”. Some authorities are taking advantage of the situation for political usage, which had led to a mistrust in authorities and advices. It is crucial to fact check remedies and conspiracy theories before trusting them.
