Looking back in this past decade there have been some pretty outrageous fake news posts, and this is just another one of those stories. With almost 1,000,000 shares on Facebook, this post set the world on fire. According to WTOE 5 News, Pope Francis endorsed former president Donald Trump during his early presidency. The news outlet further goes on to back these claims by quoting the Pope saying "to not voice my concern would be a dereliction of my duty as the Holy See." This massively fake story was completely fabricated to take some shots at the Pope's character, and with one million shares it seemed to have got caught in the headlines. With just a few searches on the internet, it was easy to see that this article was fake but some people still haven't realized a lot of what you see on the internet is fake, don't let that be you.
