With the pandemic, many artists were forced to stay home, due to the limitation of large crowds. This is a huge problem as many musicians rely on their income from their shows. This goes for big and small artists. Many of the local newspapers and publishers should publish new artists or even when there will be a show once the lockdown is over. Like what Joni Deutsch said in her article, “Local arts and music make journalism more joyous”, she states, “if journalism is the rough draft of history, arts and music are the universal languages binding its pages together and preserving it for future generations”. As lots of art and music is based on what is happening at that time. Music is important for people later to understand what happened before them.
