"My Skin Makes It Impossible To See '“all sides.”'

Tonya Mosley wrote an article on how neutrality and objectivity need to end in the field of journalism. she argues that neutrality and objectivity are not the same. being neutral is misleading to the audience because it only depicts what they want to hear. many news organizations fear to let a person of color write about a story containing a person on color. they think that they will lean towards one side and only tell half the truth. Mosley says that a person of color in an office has a lot of stories to tell, but they might seem one-sided to some. she says that writing with an opinion on what's right and giving a view of justice and reason will be the journalism in the future. Mosley states that neutrality in journalism is something that was created by white journalists that seem bland and unbiased but are one-sided in their own way. in the future, we should no restrict a journalist of color telling their story through their view. They hold more truth then we ought to see only reading a dry filtered coverage of a story. this is a bold and meaningful change for the future.

here's to hoping
