NASA to Fly Drone on Mars

This weekend NASA drone named Ingenuity will attempt to go airborne and take photos of the surface of Mars. If it succeeds, this will be the first air-controlled vehicle on a planet other than Earth. Dev Singh stressed the importance of this when he said "The Wright Brothers' moment profoundly changed the way we travel and how the world is connected. Ingenuity could now do the same for Mars by speeding up exploration. The flight will last around 30 seconds long and go 10 feet into the air. This is the first flight of around 5 if all goes according to plan on this first flight.
