With the nation in a current state of disarray, many Americans forget that we are still barreling towards the 2020 election. Much of our nation wondered who would take the democratic nomination when polls first began, but now we have an almost clear cut answer; Joe Biden. The New York Times published an article about the suspension of Bernie Sanders, one of the two main front runners for the democratic nomination and by their words it sounded as if they weren't too happy about it either. They praised him stating that he "transformed the way Democratic campaigns raised money", giving the reader the idea that the Democrats had already lost a great candidate.
