Everyone has started to question is Twitter the new News App? The generation now has found different ways to keep in touch with what is happening in the outside world. Many apps have passed by to share personal life stories such as Snapchat, Facebook, or Instagram. However, Twitter seems to really show the true reality of what goes on. In one of the articles, Joshua Benton states, "Twitter is by far the most news-friendly of the major social platforms".
But is it a reliable source that actually shows you what is happening? Or is it (mostly) a real platform? People believe in what they say without realizing where it is coming from. There are always two sides to a story.
