One of the great things about social media platforms is the customization some of them allow you to have. For instance, Facebook can be inundated with information at times and can lead to feeling overwhelmed. However, if you actually go through it and spend the time to customize what you want to see, it's a much better user experience. You can ignore all the trash and even choose not to get the updates from your friends or acquaintances who seem to have an update every hour. It really does allow you to be efficient. There may be several pages you have liked to support others or because you want to bookmark them for later, you can go into settings and indicate how often you'd like them to come up or simply choose that they not update in your feed at all and when you want, you can go through your likes or do a search to go back and find the page again, when you have the time to peruse through and gather the information you need. It's a great platform for this reason, I just don't know that users take advantage of it, as it seems to be used more for socializing than anything else. At least that is how it is marketed.
