The apps that I investigated were Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, and CNN.
this is because I know that most teenagers get their news from these sites, twitter and Snapchat being top 2.
Similitudes: almost all the apps previously mentioned are specifically social media related. They all present the news to the public in the way of post, Snapchat and Instagram use "high quality and unique features like square image format", big legible text on top of the picture to let the view know what the post is about. on the other hand, both CNN and Twitter use a picture as well but the text is not necessarily the most important thing since they contain more information and cant have big random text all over the place, however they do use better vocabulary to grab the views attention.
On the other hand, both CNN and Twitter present themselves in a more formal and professional manner.
