I wanted to see how different news source on a mobile app will customize my news feed to what I want to see. When I downloaded most of the news apps I’m seeing that they have main options to choose from consisting of,”breaking news … top news … politics … corona virus … sports … [etc]” from most of the news sources that I downloaded. I also noticed that bigger or more known news sources will have the customization of the news as opposed to smaller news sources that will not give you the option to customize your news feed. Also I do notice that other platforms, more like social media platforms, will tend to not initially ask for your interests but the plat framers will take your most liked and saved content and slowly cater it to your likes over time.
