Technology has evolved to where people can receive news from many different outlets. Apps such as Snapchat and CNN transfer news too its viewers, though both apps are different. Snapchat is used as a social media app to connect with friends and it now has the ability to portray, "breaking news headlines inside the app that injects timely news briefs". Where CNN is purely used to convey news to the public. As more current events take place more frequently, apps have learned to adapt to this change and even make a profit off of it.
