Newseum is a "collection of more than 40,000 print news items, 200,000-plus photographic prints and negatives and more than 22,000 objects related to newsgathering" this allows you to see all the different rhetorical choices used in newspapers around the country.
I've been on and off looking for different rhetorical choices on the website Newseum and I've seen a pretty fun pattern.
if we're talking about the recent articles, we can see that most of them use a big strong front as well as a strong word to grab your attention.
As for the rest of the articles they use the same fonts as they have to stay the same to stay in context with their companies.
I can see a drastic change in how these newspapers age and I can see the difference in the fonts. The colors for most of them are neutral colors, but some of them do try to be vibrant to grab your eye, it's all about the rhetorical choice to get people to read them.
I said that this is pretty fun because I've seen that kind of style used in old movies and they look just the same.
