Many people today never pick up a newspaper. That doesn't mean they aren't still being made, though. To get people to buy or look at the newspaper today takes a bit more effort than it did one hundred years ago. We have a digital world at our fingertips, why would we need news in paper form? Despite this, there are still ways to get people to buy and use this hard-copy news. One thing I've noticed, are the colors, and the pictures used on the front cover. usually headings and sub-headings are strategically colored a louder color than the rest of the page, drawing your eyes there. And if the words are interesting enough, you might just have a read. when seeing the pictures, I thought back to the only reason I have kept newspapers; because myself, of family members are featured in it! Keeping things local could be another way to get people to buy newspapers. I personally don't think the newspaper will disappear for a long long time.
