As the number of fatalities from the Coronavirus continues, more and more precautions are being set in place to slow down the spread of the deadly virus. One of those is the new order that, at least in California, essential businesses have the power to refuse service if a customer is without a face mask. The peak of the virus is supposed to occur in the next two weeks, and experts are stressing that this is the most important time for people to be staying home, wearing masks, and avoiding contact with other people. Although the peak is here, that doesn’t mean the masks will be gone soon. Dr. Shan Soe-Lin, believes that “people are going to have to wear masks until there's a vaccine. I mean that to be completely blunt". This will require the cooperation of Americans around the world, due to the stigma of wearing one versus in other countries, where going out without one is just plain rude.
