No Silence in Sports

With all the recent events regarding the Black lives matter movement, It is difficult to stay silent, as silence Is loud. One of the most "controversial" issues was how Colin Kapernick would peacefully protest by kneeling during games. The Neiman Lab Predictions for journalism predicts that There will be an "end to 'stick to sports'". In times like this, we can recognize that this prediction is coming true.

The Associated Press created an article called "Goodell says NFL was wrong for not listening to players". According to this article, the NFL Commissioner states, "the league was wrong for not listening to players fighting for racial equality" With that being said, it is hard to "stick to sports". Addressing injustice is much more important than sports.
