Osama Bin Laden has been sought since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. After the attacks, The United States “launched a war in Afghanistan to destroy al-Qaeda strongholds and overthrow Taliban rulers who harbored bin Laden”. “10 years after the worst terrorist attack on U.S soil, President Barack Obama informed the nation in a televised speech that ‘justice had been done’”. U.S Navy Seals raided bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan and he was killed. “His body was buried at sea off the deck of the USS Carl Vinson at an undisclosed location in the Arabian Sea”. There were reports of celebrations following the news of bin Laden’s death.
