Out of Power In My City

agasca2

The recent winter catastrophes of last week have caused major power outages powered by one grid operator, ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas) which powers 90% of the state’s electric load. As the demand for power increased cities and rural areas were losing power, record low numbers for Texas were counted last week and the amount of supply needed to power houses, and businesses were failing. It was sad to see neighboring communities lose power and struggle in these very harsh climates, we were keeping up in Social Media and seeing everything going on, and even some of my family were struggling. Texas is the highest powering state in the U.S and still having “More than four million customers are in the dark across Texas”.
