Fake news is something that has been around for centuries, it all started in 1475 when a young boy went missing and a preacher told everyone that the Jewish took the boy and murdered him. This lie led to 15 jews being arrested, tortured, and burned at the stake. We as a society have continued down this slippery slope. Humans deluge themselves with information, more than what your brains can handle at times, we then become overwhelmed, the brain then starts to become more relaxed and less aware of what the truthers are (Why we believe fake news). Journalists who talk lies use the viewer for political reasons and or to get more views on other stories. Some are worried about the future of journalism being the reason that most news stories are lies/fake news-you has the reader should decipher what is real or fake. People are getting tired of not being able to trust their main source of news, this creates distrust between the reader and the reporters. This will cause an issue in the near future if no action is taken to try and stop it, we won't have peace of mind if we can trust others.
