As technology gets more and more advanced we as humans rely more and more heavily on it. Due to the nature of politics the concept of "fake news" has become prevalent. More and more articles come out by large organizations trying to get the first article out there, only to find that their article is based entirely on misinformation. L. Gordon Crovitz says the only way to fight misinformation is with journalists, not algorithms. Numerous news outlets have had to release apologies to their readers and advertisers for the release of misinformation. People are the future to stopping misinformation not robots. "Technology companies have no competence in the journalistic work needed to identify purveyors of misinformation, whether through foreign disinformation campaigns or health care hoaxes."(Crovitz)
