Earl Simmons, also known as DMX, a popular 90's and early 2000's rapper died today. He was known for his raspy voice and great rapping ability. He faced a lifelong battle with drugs and struggled to stay clean. He suffered from a heart attack a week ago which was a complication from a drug overdose. DMX was left in a "vegetative state" after the heart attack and never got off of life support. “Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end,” the Simmons family said. “He loved his family with all of his heart, and we cherish the times we spent with him.” "Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end" Mr. Simmons leaves behind his 15 children and his millions of fans.
