Journalism has become largely political within the past few years, and largely polarized along with its political direction. Misinformation has become rampant throughout the world of journalism, and titles are simply being used as clickbait to lure readers in. According to Candis Callison, "calling it a crisis isn't enough". Journalism is facing more than just a crisis, and "underlying conditions already form layers crises". Furthermore, journalism is being used as a tool to spread an agenda, and that can be extremely harmful from an audience standpoint. Although journalism is facing many crises at the moment though, there is still hope left in the world of journalism for more accurate information.
