After more than 70 years of marriage to Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Phillip has died. He was 99 years old, two months shy of turning 100. The cause of death is unknown, but the Queen announced this morning "It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle." Civilians have brought flowers in remembrance of Prince Phillip and many even making tributes to him outside the castle. There will be a private funeral for Prince Phillip.
