I was interested as to why my location of residence has such an abundance of wild rabbits, turkeys, and coyotes. From this article, it turns out that Texas is the perfect nesting ground for such critters. I ask a friend of mine, Jessy, as to what he thinks about the huge number of rabbits and other small wildlife about. He said, "I always knew that rabbits and other animals were around, but not as many as I thought. I guess it's because of all the grass and trees around." He said. This isn't exactly an issue for me, however, there are many reports of rabbits reproducing at a rate that isn't sustainable to an urban environment. Too many rabbits and vegetation will begin to windle, but not enough and there won't be any food for the foxes or raccoons.
