In this blog post I will be discussing an opportunity for all journalists, news networks,etc. I recently read an article posted on the NeimenLab Predictions for Journalism 2021 written by Zizi Papacharissi titled “This year we rebuild the infrastructure of truth” In her article, she claims that in the past years, we as the consumers of news, have put journalists in unfair and unfair situation”The past few years have put journalists in the awkward position of defending truths long articulated by science” (Papacharissi 7) . Instead of journalists going out and finding the truth for us to read, we have made them defend truths that have already been defended by science. Now we require them to defend them again because people are now skeptical about anything and everything and because of this, news has turned into long running arguments about what is real and what is “fake news”
