Rewards of Journalism Profession

AbrilQuintana

Journalists have to risk their lives in search of news content to report. They encounter different types of situations that may sometimes threaten their life or well being. Therefore, depending on a journalist’s experience with a story, this may be visible in the way their report is presented. The use of rhetorical strategy of ethos, logos and pathos in how the word content and the photo content are present might also convey its independent message from what an article or story is saying. Some may use photos to give the audience the visual picture of their story to influence some kind of emotion in them. Another might prefer to use words, especially the deeply descriptive ones to walk a reader through the story. What remains is that by the end of it, the reader might or might be able to comprehend the extent of danger the journalist had to encounter to present that story.
