Robert Fisk on tackling the Coronavirus

siri-bafna

Robert Fisk, a renowned journalist reviews his perception on how to tackle the Coronavirus in his article, "In this war against the virus, who is the real enemy? Government, police or is it us?" In his title itself, he shows honesty as well as a holistic coverage of what he is planning on talking about, unlike most journalists who keep the title specific in order to entice more readers. In his introduction, he begins with introducing Boris Johnson's story, in which he says "Or even provide his own people with the truth about just how many of them have died or are dying or will die." In this specific statement, he shows a sense of sarcasm, humor and a light mood, essentially foreshadowing the tone of the rest of his article. It’s clear that Fisk likes to keep it light and easy, even when talking about serious topics.
