In the United States we abide by the 1st amendment by having freedom of speech. Some people like to take this a step forward by exercising this right to the fullest of its ability. They feel the American people deserve to know everything that goes on within our government. It may even be crossing a boundary that upsets many powerful people. These reporters want to expose secrets that are meant to be hidden and by going rogue, they report on events such as ,"international media about the way the United States conducted its wars". People who fall victim of this information being leaked to the public see it as a form of treason and want to punish those responsible. Though the reporters are only exercising their freedom of speech so why is it illegal? They are simply reporting what the people deserve to know.
