Saving Journalism

mmoore61

The decline of journalism is in full swing, now we just need to find a way to save it. How can we achieve that when things have already changed for the worst? Well, Ben Werdmuller said it best, “There isn’t a single magic bullet that will work for everyone. Even producing groundbreaking journalism isn’t going to suddenly turn your fortunes around.” Journalism can only be saved by switching things up, and one single thing won’t work for everyone. Get to know your audience or even the audience you hope to reach, do your research on them, and tailor your news to them. Maybe this means using more videos if you are a primarily text-based news site in the danger path. Whatever the case may be, you have to work to find what will work for you.
