Shereen Bhan Informs

EquallyFair

Shereen Bhan is an Indian journalist. Her article for CNBC-TV18, SII to supply 20mn Covishield doses to African countries, won't impact Indian supply: Adar Poonawalla, informs readers of the state of vaccines for the world. Bhan highlights the companies involved in getting the vaccine distributed. The Serum Institute of India, AstraZeneca, and Oxford University were all mentioned within her article. Each entity plays a role in protecting the world from COVID-19. Bhan says, "India has already provided over 229 lakh doses of coronavirus vaccines to various countries out of which 64 lakh doses have been supplied as grant assistance and 165 lakh on a commercial basis, the Ministry of External Affairs had said on February 12. India is a major manufacturer of vaccines in the world. The WHO had on Monday listed AstraZeneca and Oxford University's COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use, widening access to the relatively inexpensive shot in the developing world. A WHO statement had said that it had approved the vaccine as produced by AstraZeneca-SKBio (Republic of Korea) and the SII." Shereen Bhan gives us a look into the extensive efforts to bring the world into a healthier state.
