There are two types of fake news, and according to the Researchers at Indiana University, "information overload and users' finite attention span limit the capacity of social media to discriminate information on the basis of quality." Misinformation is a type of fake news that is not meant to be deceiving. It is used to change people's opinion and mostly satire. They are spread through conspiracy theories or jokes across social media. Disinformation is the other type of fake news which is the most common we see. These includes misleading thumbnails on videos that make us click on it. This information is to deceive people and make them believe in wrong information. Its reasoning is mostly because the creator wants attention.
