Sources You Can Get The Latest News Today!

With today's technology and its advancement, there are many apps that allow news to be communicated through social media. News were generally delivered to the public through newspaper and/or broadcasts on TV. Nowadays, most news are put out to the public on social media platforms. For example, most people today spend a lot of time browsing Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, etc. These sites contain articles that are specially targeted for the people using that app. Most articles and news are commonly biased persuading the readers to consume it in only one way.

Forbes states, “Social media has become the main source of news online with more than 2.4 billion internet users, nearly 64.5 percent receive breaking news from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat and Instagram instead of traditional media.” This occurs because social media platforms publish articles with headlines that are appealing to most people. Newsfeeds try their best to grasp their audience’s attention with content that is most relevant. Although their content has captured their specific target, most people spend about 10-15 seconds reading the articles as they lose interest.
