This movie follows about a group of reporters who will uphold their journalistic integrity now matter what. It starts out with the Boston Globe’s Spotlight team, one of the oldest investigative journalist unit in the United States. They started to investigate the systematic child abuse within the Boston area by numerous roman catholic priests. To make that they got their sufficient evidence, the team went to investigate and interview victims of the priest. The Spotlight team managed to reveal a cover-up by the church who did not want the bad publicity. After publishing their findings numerous other victims decided to come forward.
