Steve Henn works in audio news for Google and says that “we’re at the beginning of an effort to make the audio web as relevant and as useful as the text web has become.” He states that we are only at the beginning of what a podcast can be and that it will only continue to expand. Henn says that “audio is becoming interactive” and that Google allows you to have an interactive playlist that learns what type of stories you like to hear. In order for this growth to continue, we need to have tools to help creators expand and build a sustainable workplace.
