Super Followers? Twitter Is Turning In To OnlyFans

jandrews829

#RIPTwitter trended yesterday on Twitter with the announcement of paid followers for accounts wanting to participate. This announcement immediately drew comparisons to OnlyFans, which is a website used for paid fandom ranging from celebrities providing exclusive content, to sex workers trying to make their way. Twitter already allows content pretty much of all types, so this isn't really a surprising move by the Silicon Valley powerhouse.
